An early Victorian diamond and enamel mourning ring in 18ct gold, featuring an old mine cut diamond set with a black enamelled head, to a stylised band decorated with black enamel and gold inlaid initials. Inscribed to the inside “Tamar Hetherington ob’ 30 Sept 1839 Oct ’11”. Glazed compartment to the back containing a lock of hair.
